The ‘B Beauty’ Coalition envisions a new approach to beauty that prioritizes soil as much as skin, nature as much as natural, evidence as much as ego, and impact as much as performance.

Initiated by Davines, Skandinavisk, N&B Natural is Better, Dr. Bronner’s, Expanscience Laboratoires, Antica Erboristeria, and Rudolph Care, the Coalition is composed of over 60 B Corps on 6 continents with a vision to deliver ‘beauty for good’.

They commit to working together to share knowledge and best practices, spark exploration and responsible innovation, and speak consistently and clearly, to deliver genuine benefits to our customers, our communities, our suppliers, and our planet. As a result of the continuous and close collaboration amongst three established working groups, the B Corp Beauty Coalition launched the B Beauty Navigator in March 2023, an openly-available online library of sustainability guidance in beauty packaging, ingredients, and logistics to share knowledge with fellow businesses in the industry.

Interdependence Coalition

European Union Flags

B Lab Europe launched the Interdependence Coalition in 2021 with the ambition to embed stakeholder governance into company law at a European level. This would truly unleash the power of business to be the force for good and help realize the ambitions of the European Green Deal.

Influencing policy across the region is a long-term ambition requiring time, evidence, and strength in numbers. In 2022, more than 150 Certified B Corporations, systems change and impact-driven organizations joined the Interdependence Coalition. Its aim is to embed one of the fundamentals of the B Corp movement – namely, for businesses to consider the impact of their decisions on all stakeholders
– as a mandatory obligation for businesses operating in Europe.

The Interdependence Coalition has actively engaged in the long process in the evolving proposed Directive for Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence (CSDDD). Having responded to the initial consultation process, it developed its formal response to the EU Commission on the Commission’s draft proposal. Together, we saved it as European Parliament approved CSDDD in a vote to put people and the planet before profit.

Collective action for climate

B Corp Climate Collective

Collective action for climate

The B Corp Climate Collective (BCCC) is a community of Certified B Corporations (B Corps) committed to taking action on the climate emergency, centering climate justice.

The BCCC recognizes the unique and powerful role that B Corps play as purpose-driven businesses to address climate change. Stewarded by the global network of B Lab and Sistema B organizations, this collective is working to identify concrete steps to accelerate climate mitigation, center climate justice, and work collectively, as individual companies, and through cross-sector collaboration and public advocacy.

As an accelerator to UNFCCC’s Race to Zero campaign, the BCCC drives businesses towards making net zero commitments by working with existing Race to Zero partners.

Take collective action

Around the world, collective action initiatives are led by B Corporations with support and involvement from the B Lab and the B Lab Global Network. B Corps use the B Hive to connect, collaborate, and take collective action on a number of different issues.
