Urban Volt Limited

We help businesses reduce their reliance on fossil fuel energy and insulate themselves from the volatility of energy costs, not to mention drastically reducing their carbon footprint.

About Urban Volt

Urbanvolt is a company that specialises in the provision of sustainable light. The company was created with the mission of making it easy for big companies to become more sustainable. Urbanvolt retrofit Industrial buildings with energy efficient LED lighting for no upfront cost. They help to cut energy costs, reduce carbon emissions and improve working conditions using their light as a service model. Since creation, LaaS (light as a service) has generated a significant market reaction with the LaaS term receiving patent protection with customers across 9 countries availing of the service. UrbanVolt partners with trusted in-market experts globally, resulting in positive impact for local economies.

Urbanvolt then expanded into offering Solar as a service in late 2020. The model allows companies to transition to clean energy for no upfront capital cost. UrbanVolt covers the cost of installing the solar array on the roof, and the company signs a fixed term PPA agreement where they will pay a fixed cost to UrbanVolt every month for the energy they consume. To date, UrbanVolt has removed 70GWh primary energy consumption from the grid annually and generates 13.5GWh of solar energy. UrbanVolt provides the expertise to our clients that allows them to expedite their transition to sustainability.
