About Treedom

Treedom, founded in Tuscany in 2010, promotes agroforestry projects, in particular the planting of fruit trees, and offers innovative solutions for green branding, green communication, stakeholders engagement and sustainability strategies. The innovation consists of the transparency and visibility of the action. Once planted, every single tree is photographed, geo-localized, and posted on the user's profile, as well as always visible on the web and shareable on social networks.

In the last seven years, Treedom has planted more than 320.000, engaging 70.000 users – private individuals and companies - and involving more than 18.800 farmers in Africa, Latin America and Italy. Treedom's versatile services offer companies the possibility to create their corporate forest and integrate a map, photos, and details of all planted trees in the company's website. Treedom can calculate the CO2 emissions of a company's activities and define a personalized plan to offset them. Companies can organize green events and apply the co2neutral label by planting trees which can be given as a gift to the participants. All guests or attendees can see where their trees have been planted and share them with others. Every planted tree can be personalized with a company logo and message. For a company, Treedom's technology becomes a unique tool to engage their consumers and stakeholders, making them the protagonists of their sustainability initiatives during and many months after a campaign. Treedom's major clients include: Enel, Volkswagen, Sofidel, AXA, Generali Group, X-Factor, Diners, Mercedes-Benz, Gucci and H&M.

We believe that present and future companies can contribute to produce environmental benefits, and help people to live in a more sustainable world. We are very proud to belong to a community that involves more and more companies which pursue the common goal of change.

The Change We Seek®

Innovation, engagement and transparency are Treedom's pillars. A simple tree becomes an interactive and smart tool to engage with stakeholders. Companies can give a tree as a Christmas gift to their employees, as a reward for their costumers and consumers, or for special events. Thanks to the flexibility of services Treedom provides a new way to make stakeholders the protagonists of the company's sustainability mission and to effectively communicate the company's social and environmental commitment.

With Treedom's technology, based on photographs, maps and GPS coordinates, anyone can monitor the growth of the trees on the web. This system guarantees the transparency of the company's commitment towards the environment, the local communities benefiting from the tree planting activities, and its stakeholders in general.

Treedom's unique and versatile services make the tree a trigger to creating environmental and social benefits in a more emotional and direct way between investors and local communities. Treedom develops projects that have several benefits that go beyond the environmental one: job opportunities, fair income, food sovranity, micro-entrepreneurship, education, and much more.
