About Thermaflex

Close to half of the energy produced on this planet is used for heating and cooling and still most of it is generated by burning fossil fuels. That makes the vision of Thermaflex absolutely clear:

“Minimize the waste of energy and maximize the use of renewables.”

Thermaflex develops and produces smart solutions for thermal energy distribution. The flexible pre-insulated piping systems and insulation for heating, cooling, ventilation and drinking water are applied in residential areas, commercial and public buildings, and industries across the globe. Besides providing a comfortable indoor climate, these systems enable renewable energy and help to lower the carbon footprint of buildings.

Starting out in 1976 in the Netherlands, this family-run business has expanded to an international player with 5 production facilities and 16 sales and support offices worldwide, and realizes successful projects in over 45 different countries.

Thermaflex North West Europe became a B Corp because this is the platform that boosts our passion to save energy and maximise the use of renewables with recyclable products and solutions.

The Change We Seek®

In the early days, thermal energy production and consumption were highly localised, based on local needs, available resources, limited technology and comfort. With the discovery of fossil fuels, this changed dramatically, however, people have come to realize that this change is not truly sustainable.

Nowadays the world is striving for improved efficiency and in search of renewable alternatives. That is driving the development of both production and use of energy. Yet as it diversifies, it is once more becoming more localized. In theory, everyone has the choice to become a producer or user. But whether on individual or community level, it is vital that available capacities and fluctuating demands are connected.

In co-creation with its stakeholders, Thermaflex looks for smart energy solutions, gradually building their common futures and flexibly adapting to new situations and challenges. From generating ideas, through testing of prototypes to successful implementation. Thermaflex’ ‘high-energy’ team across the globe attaches a great deal of importance to working together to make substantial progress.

With the help of Cradle to Cradle, Thermaflex North West Europe is on a journey to fully recycle its products and make use of safe materials only.
