About Simply Straws

Simply Straws is a reusable glass drinking straw alternative to the common plastic straws polluted ever second. This concept was born when founder, Cyndi Sladics, was looking for a solution for her dental patients. She knew straws help protect our teeth from the acids in drinks that cause teeth sensitivity, staining and erosion. She also knew the plastic straws leached chemicals mimicking hormones that disrupt our system, in addition to living in landfills for a thousand years. With a passion to educate the public on the effects of plastic pollution, and a commitment to work with organizations to minimize them - they began. They set out a mission to reduce the 500 million plastic straws disposed daily in USA!

No more garnishing that landfill with "disposable" plastic straws, Simply Straws upgraded to glass- Try it once and you'll understand why.  They're reusable like utensils and dishes, they're a pleasure to sip anything through, and they're beautiful objects, too. They're reusable, durable (lifetime guarantee - if you break 'em, Simply Straws will replace 'em), biodegradable, and handmade with intention in California with equal portions of logic and love. The materials are BPA-free and the colors are non-toxic. And it doesn't stop at straws. Simply Straws' sleeves are carefully crafted from fair-trade hemp, flax, and organic cotton. They use non-toxic dyes, FSC-certified 100% post-consumer recycled paper for business materials, and their packaging is compostable. If Simply Straws were any more green, they'd be a tree! One percent of all proceeds goes directly to their non-profit partners, all of which are educating and activating against plastic pollution!

The Simply Straws family is an actual family. They're a mom, pop, daughter-and-son business. That means that when the holidays roll around, you only need to send one card! Simply Straws would like to leave the world a better place than when they came into it, sip by sip, and they'd like you to join them in this endeavor.

We are honored to unite with other forward thinking brands, that are going beyond the traditional business model to help preserve our beautiful planet while supporting fair business practices. We believe B-Corp businesses are the solution to the majority of issues we are up against: environmentally, socially, and economically! We look forward to participating and supporting this B community, collectively working towards new legislation and celebrating a better future for our earth!
