Job Description:



Numi Organic Tea seeks a skilled Marketing Manager to lead our strategic channels business, including Foodservice, International and Strategic Retail channels (Club, Seasonal, etc).  An integral part of the Marketing team, the Marketing Manageris responsible for building the Numi brand by contributing to strategy and partnering with Sales to drive business opportunities in key strategic channels through mix of analytics, sales tools and collateral, promotions, campaigns, product packaging and product renovation.

The ideal candidate has some marketing experience (ideally in a consumer packaged goods company) as well as experience with project management. Keys to success will be strong organizational skills with attention to details, excellent communication skills, a can-do attitude, a passion for variety, and the flexibility and ability to wear many hats. This individual must be creative yet analytical/financially oriented, resourceful in handling project roadblocks, and be a strong executer.



  • 2-4 years Brand Marketing experience, consumer goods marketing experience preferred.  Foodservice experience a plus.

  • Demonstrated track record of managing multiple, simultaneous, high priority tasks and deadlines with grace and ease

  • Experience in working successfully with a cross-functional team.

  • Strong financial, strategic and analytical skills

  • Must possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, planning and organizational skills, and attention to detail

  • Must be a highly motivated self-starter who can work independently in fast paced, changing environment

  • Passion for natural and organic products
  • Must have a strong working knowledge of computer programs: Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and MS office programs

  • Ability to handle multiple tasks

  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

  • Experience with IRI/Nielsen/SPINS reporting and analysis



  • Project Management:  lead packaging, promotional, product renovation and other projects, working across cross-functional teams and executive team to deliver results.

  • Business Analysis and Tracking: Quantitatively analyze the business to understand performance and identify problems and opportunities.  Update competitive analysis and prepare recommendations.

  • Budget Management: Manage and track projects within marketing budget.

  • Marketing Execution: Develop and execute elements of the marketing activation plan for Numi strategic channels’ strategies and tactics including promotions, packaging, merchandising, events, and consumer sampling.  Manage partnerships to elevate and amplify the Numi brand. Responsible for ROI on all efforts.

  • Sales Support Execution: Create account presentations, broker and vendor activation tools, training materials, interactive and direct marketing, including customer promotions and collateral development, email marketing campaigns, and brand partnership opportunities.

  • Consumer Insights: Support consumer insights research needed to improve the brand's marketing efforts.

  • Initiate exciting and out-of-the-box ideas in how to promote the Numi brand to consumers and trade partners.

  • Work with marketing & sales to effectively launch new products and increase sales of existing line.
